OLBY Mechanical are fully qualified Welders and Fabricators in the heart of the Midlands. All our welders are trained and tested to our specific Weld Procedures and tested to Radiography standard ISO 9606-1 and SAFed UKAS BEIS approved.

OLBY Mechanical also specialise in producing packaged plant in the form of skids or contained units. We are able to build skids and packaged plant up to 4m high and by 4.25m wide and we can unload anything up to 3 tonnes via our container spec forklifts. We can provide all Pipework and Electrical works within the packaged plant, fully tested in house ready for installation. These packaged plants can then be delivered to site and installed in position, connected to the site services and operational within hours. These Turn-Key units are all built to the clients specifications and delivered to site ready for the intigrating and connecting to the desired on-site services. We can also assist with all your on-site requirements to include the positioning, installation and hand over to the client or end user.

Our Electrical partners can also supply all the electrical works required on-site allowing us to provide a full on-site Turn-Key solution to your project needs.

Prefabricated Pipework Services

Pipework manufacturing

OLBY Mechanical are off-site manufacturers of prefab pipework manufactured to either a client issued design drawings (CAD) or via our own on-site measurement service. We can produce pipework spool pieces that can be manufactured off-site in our dedicated workshop based in the Midlands and delivered to anywhere in the UK for site installation by either our clients site team or by our own dedicated on-site installation team. The benefits to this service can be an important factor to your client and their project design and work program, by prefabricating off-site this would enable the pipework to be delivered on the required installation date and installed quickly and efficiently and reducing the on-site time scales. Also, as the Health & Safety of the personnel on site is paramount to our business as it is yours, the ability to fabricate the pipework off-site eliminates the fire risk on the site and the exposure of personnel to fumes from the welding process.
